My name is Jenipher Stephenson, MA, LPC, LPSC and I provide a safe space without judgement giving my clients a voice. As a mother of an anxious child, I pursued a second career as a counselor to help both kiddos and adults process the past and work through the present

I am authentic and creative with my approach using different modalities to customize to my clients needs. I am client centered and tend to use CBT (cognitive behavioral), Narrative, EMDR, Motivational Interviewing, Play and Mindfulness as a base.….I try different approaches to help my clients feel comfortable and heard. I also bring different perspectives as mother, daughter, sibling, wife in a blended family, and school counselor to my work, as well as a Christian perspective when my clients desire. I do not judge and am accepting of all…judging is not my job and I want nothing to do with it. My goal is for everyone to live their happy life on their own terms.
I work with all ages, although I have a gift for kiddos and specialize working with all ages with a focus on distress rooted in childhood. I use different perspectives, trauma focused therapy, and creativity. In our first few sessions, you can expect a focus our relationship so we can work as a team, and understand your story and goals for therapy.

- I am passionate about this work because it is a calling for me. I am blessed to be alongside my client’s journeys to help them be who they want to be. Watching their growth is amazing and I love to see their pride when they grow into who they truly are.
